Khulna division organising secretary of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Nazrul Islam Manju and his wife Advocate Sabiha Khatun have tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Sairul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP chairperson's press wing, confirmed the information on Wednesday.

Both of them have been taking treatment at home after they tested positive for the COVID-19 disease on Tuesday, he said.

Nazrul Islam Manju, who is also the president of Khulna City unit of the party, contested as BNP mayoral candidate in the last KCC election.
