Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested 13 people, including nine members of a bank debit/credit card forgery gang that withdrew crores of money from people's accounts through forgery, from different parts of the capital and Bhanga area of Faridpur on Saturday night.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

The elite forces also recovered Tk 14.5 lakh and some electronic devices they used for their criminal activities, said Raisul Islam Moni, major of RAB headquarters.

Details will be revealed at a press conference at noon, he said.
