A former captain of Biman Bangladesh Airlines died from Covid-19 on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Ali Ashraf Khan.

He breathed his last at around 12pm at the Anwar Khan Modern Hospital in the capital, a family source said.

Ali Ashraf was rushed to the hospital a few days ago after he suddenly fell sick.

His wife also died from the deadly disease seven days ago.
