The authorities of the Dhaka University (DU) have taken a decision to bring all the students of the institution under health insurance with a view to ensuring better treatment for the learners.

The Deans' Committee of DU took the decision in a meeting on Tuesday, reveals a media report. 

The meeting was held at the seminar room of the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of DU.

DU Vice Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman presided over the meeting.  The meeting was held following health guidelines and social distancing.
