A total of 29 people died in the corona unit installed at Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) from May 28th to May 30th afternoon.
Among the deceased, seven were diagnosed with COVID-19. In addition, samples of some other deceased were sent to lab for Covid-19 test. But those reports have not yet been received, according to the hospital sources.The identified Covid-19 people were Nazrul Islam, 58, Kanchilal Dash, 75, Majeda Begum, 65, Humayun, 50, Jakaria, 60, Motaleb, 52 and Phulchand Sheikh, 38.
Rest of the deceased were identified as Hafija Khatun, 35, Haris Mia, Md Abdul Latif, 62, Delwar Hossain, 56, Sohel, 42, Bishakha, 45, Mukul, 45, Ekramul, 60, Subhash, 65, Abdur Rahman, 52, Torab Hossain, 65, Nawsher Ali, 81, Habibur Rahman, 50, Abdus Sattar Munshi, 65, Abdul Gaffar, 56, Farukuzzaman, 45, Mokammel Hossain, 72, Hamid, 75, Asma, 24, Ranjit, 41, Aminur Rahman, 56 and Ashraful, 32.
