Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID), Chattogram lab chief Dr Shakil Ahmed has been tested positive for Covid-19.

He is the front fighter for checking the coronavirus pandemic in the port city but he himself tested posited on Tuesday.

He was leading the team for testing samples of Covid-19 patients in Chattogram from March 25.
