Evaly provides PPEs for National Emergency Services Center

E-commerce based online marketplace Evaly provided health care and safety products to the National Emergency Services Center 999 authorities.

In the midst of the Covid-19 Corona situation, these items were given to protect the personal health of the members on duty at the service center run by the Bangladesh Police.

On Thursday (May 21), 490 packets of health care materials were officially handed over to 999's head office in the capital. On behalf of Evaly, Director of the company Atiqur Rahman handed over the safety equipments to the Additional DIG of 999 Tabarak Ullah.

Each packet includes a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hand Sanitizer, Eye Protective Glass and three Surgical Face Masks. Three thermometers were also provided for 999 office.

In this regard, the Director of Evaly Atiqur Rahman said, 999 has been providing emergency services to the people of the country 24 hours a day since its starting. Many citizens of the country are getting services from here at the critical moment of their lives. In the midst of this Covid-19 Corona situation, the members here are still working. After all, 999 was ready to deliver emergency services to the people of the nation even during cyclone Ampan. On behalf of Evaly we are providing some personal health protection materials for the members here out of our Corporate Social Responsibility. This is just a small attempt to show our respect and gratitude for their relentless commitment.

On the other hand, Additional DIG Tabarak Ullah thanked Evaly for coming forward with humanitarian initiatives and said that 999 emergency services centers are also working in Corona. Some members of our department have been affected by Corona already. From the beginning we got a few tools from the public-private levels. I truly thank Evaly from my personal position, on behalf of 999 and above all on behalf of Bangladesh Police for coming to this kind of humanitarian work. I hope this initiative will contribute to the welfare of the people as well as the welfare of the country.

Chairman of Bahan Express Kazi Nasim Uddin and senior officials of 999 department were present during the handing over ceremoney.
