SSC results to be published after Eid through SMS

The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published after Eid-ul-Fitr through SMS in mobile phones of the examinees or their guardians.

To get the results, the candidates will have to be preregistered by sending SMS to 16222 following the steps: SSC (space) Board (space) Name (First three letters of name) Roll (space) Year.

The preregistration process started yesterday (Monday), Dhaka Education Board’s senior system analyst Monjurul Kabir told media.

Mahbub Hossain, secretary of the education ministry’s secondary and higher education division, said the education boards have decided to publish the results through mobile phone SMS upon preregistration.

Authorities took the initiatives considering the backdrop of the coronavirus pandemic across the country.

The government closed all educational institutions from March 17 to 31. Later, the shutdown was extended till May 30.

The government earlier planned to publish the results on May 7 or 8, but could not publish it due to school closure.
