The authorities of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has requested people not to go to graveyards under the corporation area for jiarat, doa or munajat at this moment as restriction has been imposed temporarily on such activities.

The DNCC came up with the urge with a view to preventing the transmission of COVID-19 among the people along with ensuring social distancing, said a press release on Tuesday.  

However, the normal course of burial of a deceased can be performed in the graveyards.
