Islamic Foundation has urged all Muslims to offer prayers on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat at their respective homes, in a bid to contain the transmission of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The request was made in a statement signed by Anis Mahmud, director general of Islamic Foundation, according to media report.

The Holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed across the country on the night of April 9 (Thursday).
