Coronavirus: Global death toll climbs to 48,289

The global death toll of coronavirus has climbed to 48,289 till Thursday.

A total of 950,639 people have been affected and 202,631 people have been recovered worldwide in the disease, worldometer reported.

The coronavirus Covid-19 has affected all 195 countries in the world. A total of 203 countries and territories and two international conveyances: the Diamond Princess cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan, and the Holland America's MS Zaandam cruise ship, have been affected in the deadly disease.

Affected countries of UN Security Council:

In USA, 215,344 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 5,112 people have died and 8,878 people have been recovered.

In China, 81,589 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 3,318 people have died and 76,408 have been recovered.

In UK, 29,474 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 2,352 people died and 135 people have been recovered.

In France, 56,989 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 4,032 patients have died and 10,935 patients have been recovered.

 In Russia, 3,548 people have been affected in the coronavirus (Covid-19). Of them, 30 people have died and 235 people have been recovered.

Other affected countries:

In Italy, 110,574 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 13,155 people have died and 16,847 people have been recovered.

In Spain, 110,238 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 10,003 have died and 26,743 people have been recovered.

In Canada, 9,731 people have been affected in the Covid-19 disease. Of them, 129 patients have died and 1,736 people have been recovered

In India, 2,032 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 58 people died and 148 people have been recovered.

In Bangladesh, 56 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, six people have died and 25 people have been recovered. Active cases are 25.

In Australia, 5,137 people have been affected in the disease. Of them, 25 have died and 345 have been recovered.
