Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday asked public representatives and government officials to take precautionary measures to check the mosquito menace in the country.
The premier said this while exchanging views on the country’s coronavirus situation with the public representatives and field level government officials through video conference from her official Ganabhaban residence in the capital.Indicating DNCC mayor Atiqul Islam, Sheikh Hasina told that she had experienced ‘mosquito song’ last night which means mosquito menace is being mounted up gradually in the capital and then Dengue will come.
“So, we have to be more careful. We need to take precautionary measures from now on. The elected representatives and others, who are there, have to take proper measures to save the people of the country from mosquitoes,” said Hasina.
In this connection, the premier advised the people to use mosquito nets while sleeping.
