More than five thousand members of the Bangladesh Army were in action to prevent deadly coronavirus transmission on Sunday across the country.
In a bid to reduce the spread of Covid-19, the government had declared a 10-day general vacation from March 26 and issued stay-at-home orders.Bangladesh Army, under the district administration, came out in action to help the government in combating coronavirus transmission and ensuring social distancing.;
According to reliable sources, with different activities including awareness programme a total of 399 teams of Bangladesh Army were on duty in 62 districts of the country.
More than 5,000 members of the army carried out those events.
