Two Bangladeshi nationals, who were infected with the novel coronavirus in Singapore, have returned their home as they have been discharged from a hospital there after recovery from the viral infection, IEDCR director Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora said on Saturday.
Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Diseases Control and Research (IEDCR), said this while addressing a media briefing on the latest coronavirus situation at her office in the capital's Mohakhali area.Meerjady Sabrina Flora said, “It’s good news for us that one more Bangladeshi expatriate worker has returned his home after recovering coronavirus infection in Singapore.”
She also informed, “Earlier, another Bangladeshi citizen also returned his home in Singapore as he was discharged from the hospital there a day ago.”
“The Bangladesh citizen, who was in ‘a very critical state’ after being hospitalised with coronavirus infection in Singapore, is now in a stable situation. The condition of rest of Bangladeshi nationals is also good. They will be discharged from the hospital in any time,” the IEDCR director added.
