Police recovered the body of an unidentified woman from the road of Hondagali area of Mirpur-10 in the capital on Tuesday morning.

Details about the victim, age around 40, could not be known immediately. Police are making efforts to identify the body.

Confirming the news, Md Imdadul Islam, sub-inspector (SI) of Mirpur Model Police Station, locals spotted the body of the woman and informed police station. Later police recovered the body at 10:00 am from the area on receiving information.

The SI also said, “Police suspected that woman dies from electrocution”.
