 Last tribute paid to Tapas Pal

 People from all walks of life paid their last respect to celebrated Bengali actor Tapas Pal as his body was brought back here from Mumbai on Tuesday night.

From there, the body was taken to his residence.

Later, his body was brought to the Rabindra Sadan premises where artists, film makers, actors and people paid their last tribute to this renowned actor.

Senior artists and film directors prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and said his death is really an irreparable loss for the Bengali film industry.

Tapas is survived by his daughter and wife.

Later, his body will be taken to Kaoratola Cemetery where the cremation ceremony will be held.

The 61-year old Tapas Pal died of heart attack at a Mumbai hospital on Tuesday morning.
