UNIDO DG to arrive Mar 3 on three-day official visit

Li Yong, director general (DG) of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), will come on March 3 on a three-day official visit.

The UNIDO DG will lead a five-member delegation. The other members of the team are Director of the Department of Programmes, Partnerships and Field Integration Zou Ciyong, Director of the Agri-Business Tezera Dejene, Programme Officer of the Regional Division for Asia and Pacific Prakash Mishra and UNIDO Country Representative Zaki Uz Zaman.

During his stay here, Li Yong will make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He will have bilateral talks with the ministers of the different ministries, including the ministries for industries, foreign affairs, fisheries and livestock, finance, and environment, forest and climate change.

Li Yong will also visit Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 marking the ‘Mujib Year’.
