The Election Commission (EC) has fixed March 29 to hold the by-elections to Bagura-1 and Jashore-6 constituencies.

EC Senior Secretary Md Alamgir announced the schedules for the two by-polls at a press conference at the media centre of Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital on Sunday.

He also informed that the elections to the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will also be held on the same day.
