2 drug traders held with 70,000 Yaba pills in Cox’s Bazar

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two drug peddlers along with 70,000 pieces of Yaba tablets in a raid at a cloth store in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday night.

The arrestees are identified as Md Jakaria, 35, son of Kabir Ahmmed, hailing from Purba Kalaujan area of Lohagara under Chattogram and Abdul Haque, 33, son of Ali Johar, from Jaliapara area of Teknaf municipality.

Lt Mirza Shahed Mahtab, company commander of RAB-15 in Teknaf CPC-1, said acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-15 conducted the drive near Burmese Market at Aktar’s cloth shop in the area and arrested them with Yabas.
