After two weeks of observation and based on the decision of the Chinese government regarding the coronavirus outbreak, we will bring home the Bangladeshi nationals living there as we are prepared.”

The foreign minister made the remark responding to a question of newsman after attending a seminar titled ‘Implementation of the third periodic review of Bangladesh’ at Lakshore Hotel at Gulshan in the capital on Tuesday.”

Dr Momen said, “We are maintaining regular contacts with the Bangladeshis staying in China. The foreign ministry has opened a web page. We will observe tourists those who are coming from China and South Korea. Besides, we will collect their addresses at the airports and keep information where they will stay in Bangladesh.”

“Coronavirus is an unknown virus. Still, there is no vaccine for remedy of this disease. So, we are asking Bangladeshis to remain alert in travelling China,” he warned.
