Seven firefighting units doused the fire after hectic efforts of two hours that broke out at a foam factory in North Badda on Friday night.

On information, the firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 9:50 pm, fire service control room official Forhadul Alam told media.

The fire started at 7:50 pm, the official said adding that the cause of the fire could not be known.

The extent of damage by the fire is yet to be ascertained.
