A Bangladeshi worker was killed in a road accident in Bahrain of Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Sawpan, 32, son of Nuruzzaman, hailing frim Petua area at Nather Kandi village of Manoharganj upazila in Cumilla.

He worked at a company named Hasan Al Maruz and lived in the Budaia area of Bahrain.

Abdul Motaleb, neighbour of the deceased said that a minibus hit Sawpan’s bi-cycle while he was returning home at 6:00 pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

The body of the Sawpan was kept at Salmania Hopspital’s morgue, according to Bahrain sources.
