Police arrested twenty suspected members of Islami Chatra Shibir along with jihadi books,CD, leaflets, planning diary, receipts of extortion and posters in a raid on Sunday morning.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

Confirming the news, additional superintendent of police in Brahmanbaria, said, acting on a tip-off, a team of law enforcers conducted the drive at Bhadughar Al-Hera Hafijia Madrasa.

Police arrested them at 11:30 am while they were in a secret meeting and planning for sabotage centering the victory day celebration on December 16.
