Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a woman reportedly along with 5,050 Yaba pills from Dharmapur area in Cumilla on Saturday.

The arrestee was identified as Nilufa Begum, 35, wife of Abul Kashem under Kotwali Police Station.

Rab-11 Company Commander Major Talukdar Nazmus Shakib said in primary interrogation, Nilufa confessed that she had long been involved in drug peddling.

A case was filed over the Yaba recovery, he added.
