A woman and her daughter were killed and another person injured as a truck hit them at Bottoli Doctorer Mor area on Naogaon-Rajshahi regional highway in Sadar upazila of Naogaon on Monday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Confirming the news, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Sadar police station Sorwardi, said a speedy truck hit them at the area at around 7:00am, leaving two women dead on the spot and one other injured.

The injured has been admitted to a local hospital, he said.
