Mushfiqur Rahim and Liton Das showed a brief fight in the second session but Ashwin struck at the right time to break their 63-run stand as Bangladesh continued their downslide on Day 3 of the Indore Test.
Resuming on 60/4 after lunch, Mohammed Shami once again struck early to remove Mahmudullah for 15.Rahim and Liton then showed resistance as they took on the India spinners. But Ashwin triumphed eventually as he got rid of Liton for 35 with a soft return catch. Rahim (53*) was the lone warrior for the visitors as he struck a fighting fifty.
Bangladesh were 191/6 at tea, still 152 runs behind India's first innings total.
