A 5.9-magnitude earthquake jolted 131 km east of Bitung, Indonesia on Friday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said, reports AP.

The epicenter, with a depth of 43.62 km, was initially determined to be at 1.6033 degrees north latitude and 126.3558 degrees east longitude.
