The Bangladesh Coast Guard rescued at least 119 Malaysia-bound Rohingyas near Bay at St. Martin Island of Cox’s Bazar on Thursday noon.

Coast Guard sources said a special patrol team in southeast zone rescued 119 Malaysia-bound Rohingyas at 1:00 pm at the area in a drive.

However, no human traffickers could not be rescued.

Among 119 Rohingyas, 47 are men and 58 women and 14 children.

Station commander of Coast Guard Lt. M Josel Rana confirmed the news.
