President arrives in Kathmandu on a 4-day visit

President Abdul Hamid arrived here on a four-day visit to Nepal at the invitation of Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Nepal around 1 pm( local time).

The Nepalese President and Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal MashfeeBinte Shams received Abdul Hamid at the airport.

Earlier, a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12pm.

President Abdul Hamid arrived here on a four-day visit to Nepal at the invitation of Nepalese President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport of Nepal around 1 pm( local time).

The Nepalese President and Bangladesh Ambassador to Nepal MashfeeBinte Shams received Abdul Hamid at the airport.

Earlier, a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President took off from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12pm.

Besides, a bilateral meeting between the Presidents of the two countries will be held on the same day at SitalNiwas (Presidential House) of Nepal.

President Hamid will visit the Unesco heritage site Bhaktapur Durbar Square and various temples in Kathmandu.

He will also join the dinner to be hosted by Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal at Bangladesh House of Bansbari in Kathmandu on the same day.  

Abdul Hamid will visit Pokhara on November 14 and attend the programme to be organised by Bangladesh Club, Bangladesh Community members living in Kathmandu.

He will visit Chandragiir hills on the last day of the visit on November 15.

The President will leave Tribhuvan International Airport at 5 pm on the day and the flight carrying him will land at the Dhaka airport at 6:30pm.

Secretaries concerned to the President and his family members are also accompanying the President.
