A two-day workshop on ‘Short-Term Trade Finance and International Trade’ was jointly organised by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) and Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) on Sunday.
The focus was on the most important parts of a standard contract of sale, proper choice and specification of the payment and delivery terms, correct relative choice and specification of documents for open global economy.Pavel Andrle, Secretary of Banking Commission of ICC Czech Republic and Commission on Commercial law and Practice and Trade Finance Trainer and Consultant conducted the workshop.
FBCCI Vice-President Md Rejaul Karim Rejnu inaugurated the workshop on Nov 2. The participants were given certificates at the closing day.
FBCCI vice-presidents Hasina Newaaz, Md Rejaul Karim Rejnu and FBCCI Director Md Munir Hossain, among others, were present.
Twenty-four representatives from different banks and industrial organisations attended the workshop. Participants shared their experience and the obstacles they face to run their international business.
