Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday announced the list of 2730 educational institutions that have been brought newly under MPO facility.

The premier announced the list from her official residence Ganabhaban at 12:00 pm on Wednesday.

According to the Education Ministry source, out of 2,730 institutions, one thousand and 650 institutions are from Secondary and Higher Secondary level (School and College) while one thousand and seventy six institutions from the Technical and Madrasa level.

After around nine years, these educational institutes get Monthly Pay Order (MPO) facility.

From Madrasa, 357 Dakhil level Madrasa, 128 Alim level, Fazil level 42, and Kamil level 29 madrasa, a total of 556 institutions get final MPO approval.

From Technical category, 62 institutions under Agricultural curriculum, 175 institutions form Vocational segment and 283 institutions from Vocational affiliated level.

Among the 1,650 institutions are from Secondary and Higher Secondary level, 439 institutions are Lower Secondary Schools (6^th-8^th),
