Biman’s ground service supervisor Gias Uddin suspended

Biman Bangladesh Airlines authorities on Tuesday suspended its one ground service supervisor at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport for breaching service code, media reports.

The suspended Biman official is Kazi Gias Uddin, a ground service supervisor. He was temporarily suspended on Tuesday by an order signed by the airline's director (Administration) Ziauddin Ahmed.

The order stated that Gias Uddin was temporarily suspended for his misconduct.

However, a reliable source said Kazi Gias Uddin is also accused of human trafficking.

The order also said the image and reputation of Biman Bangladesh Airline has been damaged for the misconduct of Ground Service Supervisor Kazi Gias Uddin,

“His conduct was a violation of aircraft service and a punishable offense. He was temporarily discharged from the service under section 58 of the Air Staff Regulations for his misconduct,” the order said.
