Onion prices to become normal at end of October, says Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Monday said that onion prices will become normal in the local market at the end of October as India will withdraw ban on exporting onion.
He came up with the remarks while briefing to media at the secretariat on Monday.
He said, “India is likely to withdraw exporting ban on onions at the end of October. So, it is expected that the market will become under control once onions from India will start to come.”
He also threatened to go tougher if any businessman found guilty in hoarding onions.
