A Madrasa principal and other 13 members of the Jamaat-e-Islami's female student front Islami Chhatri Sangstha were arrested in Sadar upazila of Pabna on Sunday night.

Police arrested the people from a house of a two-storey building in Mansurabadh residential area.

Nasim Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Pabna Sadar Police Station, said they raided the house upon information that the arrestees were holding secret meeting there.

The law enforcers also recovered a huge number of jihadi books and new members and fund collection forms from their possessions, OC Nasim added
