Police arrested 30 people accused in various criminal cases in special drives between Wednesday midnight and Thursday morning.

The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.

Mohammad Mohibul Islam Khan, Superintendent of Kurigram Police, said 10 of those arrested had arrest warrants against them and 17 were wanted in criminal cases.
