Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) can prohibit student politics from its campus, if they think.   

Sheikh Hasina made this remark in reply to a question of a journalist at a press conference at Ganabhaban in the city on Wednesday.

The premier said, “The BUET has a committee of its own and it is their choice whether they will run student politics or not. But, I will not interfere in this regard.”

Sheikh Hasina also said military dictators consider that there should not be student politics.
