Actor Zahid Hasan turns 52

Today (Friday) is the birthday of popular actor Zahid Hasan. The national award winning actor has turned 52. 

His fans, friends, and well-wishers, co-artistes from around the world have sent their greeting messages to the artiste on his birth anniversary.

Despite his busy schedule, Zahid Hasan took a break from the shooting on Friday on the occasion of his birthday.

Talking to the Daily Sun the actor said, “I have no special plan to celebrate my birthday today.  I will spend the special day with my family. Like every year, I will celebrate my birthday with family members. And I urge everyone to pray for me for my good health.”

Zahid Hasan won the heart of millions by his fabulous performance.  He gets surprised as he wonders every time that he has already spent 51 years of his life. Even at this stage of life, he works like a juvenile with the spirit of youth. Not only he still acts in the tele-dramas regularly, but also he makes TV plays on a regular basis.

Recently, Zahid Hasan acted film Shapludu has been released across the country and the actor received huge positive response.

Born on October 4, in 1967, Zahid Hasan has performed in film, television and theatre.

Zahid Hasan was born to Ilias Uddin Talukdar and Hamida Begum at his grandparent’s house in Sirajganj.  Zahid came to Dhaka from his home district to build up his career in any working sector, but eventually turned himself into a famous actor.

Hasan was part of a theatre group for several years before moving to television in 1990. He took the lead in the BTV adaptation of Rabindranath Tagore’s Shomapti and the protagonist in Bichchhu. While he made his first film appearance in 1986, his most notable role was in 2000’s Srabon Megher Din, for which he won a National Award. In addition to acting, he has directed several serials and teleplays.

He is well known for his comedic roles in television serials and dramas. His debut drama was Jibon Jemon, which was telecast in 1990.
