Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said the drives against corruption and irregularities will continue and those who are involved in misdeeds will not be spared.
The intelligence agencies are working to identify the criminals and they will be prevented whatever their organisations are, he added.Asaduzzaman Khan made the remarks this while attending freshers' reception of the North South University in the capital on Saturday.
“We have taken it as a challenge to prevent corruption in establishing good governance. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to establish good governance in the country. And the ongoing drive against illegal activities will go on,” he said.
The home minister said those who are using social media for the purpose of militant acts and drugs dealing and trading will also be identified and brought to book.
New technologies are being developed with the help of the meritorious people of the country in order to identify those who are committing different crimes applying internet, he added.
