First phase of Jagannath University unit-1 admission test held

The first phase of unit-1 (Science Faculty) admission test of first year honours courses at Jagannath University (JnU) for 2019-20 academic session was held on Saturday morning.

The one-and-half-hour test began at 10:00am and ended at 11.30am at the university campus.

The second phase of the exam will be held in the afternoon, from 3pm to 4:30pm

The two separate time for the test has been fixed on the basis of odd and even roll numbers of the candidates. The admission seekers with even roll numbers will take the exam at 10am, while those having odd roll numbers will take it at 3pm.

Total number of students appearing for the exam stands at 20,307 against 610 seats, meaning 34 students will be contending for each of the seats.

The admission seekers must enter the centre 30 minutes before the examination starts. Candidates will not be allowed to bring electric devices, such as, mobile phone, calculator and watch in the exam hall.
