Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Sayeed Khokon has said the severity of dengue has declined to a significant extent in the capital.
The DSCC mayor revealed this information while sharing experience of his recent Singapore tour at Nagar Bhaban in the capital on Wednesday.The mayor said, “I declared in August that the dengue situation will be under control in the first week of September. But it is not that the dengue situation has been under control completely at this moment. The severity of dengue in the capital has declined significantly, although it is prevailing in other parts of the country. But the situation of dengue is under control.”
