Dhaka-Mymensingh train service resumes

Rail communications on Dhaka-Mymensingh route were restored after one and a half hour as an engine of a Jamalpur-bound Teesta Express derailed at Kewatkhali crossing on Tuesday morning.

The rail communication resumed around 12:00 pm after a relief train salvaged the derailed engine, Zahirul Islam, Mymensing Railway station superintendent confirmed it.

He also said the disruption started around 10:15 am.

Mentionable, the train left Kamlapur Railway Station for Mymensingh at 7:30am.
