ACC director’s wife burnt in capital

Wife of an ACC official on Wednesday night (Early Thursday) burnt in a fire that broke out his Uttara residence in the capital, said ACC source.

According to fire service source, a fire broke out at Ani-Corruption Commission director Muhammad Yusuf’s residence house no. 1 at road no. 4 in Uttara’s sector 6 at around 12:15 am.

A fire unit rushed to the spot but the fire had been doused by the family members before the arrival of fire service.

The reasons behind fire yet not clear.

However, Uttara East Police station duty officer SI Arafat said that they were not informed of any fire incident.
