The United States has sought information from Bangladesh that what is the future plan of the government regarding the permanent solution to the Rohingya crisis.
US Ambassador to Dhaka Earl R Miller raised the issue during a discussion with Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque on Monday noon.Officials of the foreign ministry revealed this information.
About the meeting, diplomatic sources informed newsman that a US delegation of different levels will visit Bangladesh within few days to observe the latest situation of the Rohingya crisis.
The US Ambassador talked to the Foreign Secretary in this connection. They also discussed how the Rohingya issue could be discussed at the UN General Assembly session to be held in New York in the 3rd week of this month.
