Bangladesh Test and T20 skipper Shakib Al Hasan on Saturday returned home after spending some time off the field.
He is supposed to join national cricket team conditioning camp at the Mirpur Stadium today after his return from the United States, according to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Cricket Operations chairman Akram Khan.Akram Khan told a correspondent of a Bangla national daily Friday, “Shakib will return this night (Early Saturday). He will join the team conditioning camp at the Mirpur Stadium tomorrow (Saturday). We will sit with the Test and T20 captain (Shakib), selectors and newly appointed head coach Russell Domingo.”
Earlier, the all-rounder went to Saudi Arabia and performed Hajj earlier this month. Later, he visited Unites States of America to spend time with his family.
Shakib Al Hasan took a long break after his ICC World Cup 2019 mission and on July 16, BCB also granted rest to star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who finished the 2019 World Cup with astonishing numbers (606 runs and 11 wickets).
He also missed the Bangladesh's tour to Sri Lankan last month for the vacation.
