Phulki, country’s one of few non-government organizations that are working for underprivileged children has organized a workshop titled ‘For You, For Me and For a Better Tomorrow: Workshop for Community Based Daycare Sustainability’ at capital’s Six Seasons Hotel on Sunday the 4th of August 2019. As a non-profit organization, Phulki has been working with disadvantaged children and women since 1991. The workshop highlighted the need to build community-based day care centers so that disadvantaged children can become eligible citizens in the community. At the same time, it also emphasized the responsibilities of international brands and Readymade Garments in this regard.
Honorable Member of the Parliament Waseqa Ayesha Khan was present at the workshop as Chief Guest. Joint Inspector General of DIFE Dr. Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Director of BGMEA & Vice Chairman of New Age Asif Ibrahim, Sustainability Compliance Auditor of IKEA Syed Mohammad Nayeem and Chairman of Phulki Rashidul Hasan were also present at the program.
