The son and daughter of slain Mohibullah have been arrested for allegedly killing their father. 

Police arrested them from Konapara Mominbag area of Jatrabari in the capital.

The arrestees were identified as Shamim and Sanjida Akter Prity.

Md Ibrahim Khan, deputy commissioner of Wari Zone of Dhaka Metropolitan Police in a press conference said that the arrestees confessed that they have killed their father out of long-standing hatred.

Mohibullah was found dead at his home in Konapara Mominbag area on Sunday morning.
