Law Minister Anisul Huq said the allegation of Priya Saha on minority persecution in Bangladesh was made to US President Donald Trump is not a sedition, rather it is a small incident.

Anisul Huq said no incident of minority harassment was taken place in the country except the regime of BNP-Jamaat government. Priya Saha made such an allegation to gain personal interest.

Meanwhile, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said Priya Saha, who complained of minority oppression in Bangladesh to US President Donald Trump, should be given a chance a to explain herself.

Priya claimed that 37 million Hindus, Buddhists and Christians had disappeared from Bangladesh and that her home was torched and her land was grabbed by Muslim fundamentalists.
