Eid-ul-Azha holiday makers of the country will be able to collect advance bus and train tickets from July 26 and 29 respectively, Bangladesh Bus Truck Owners' Association said on Tuesday.
Ramesh Chandra Ghosh, chairman of the association, said, “The bus companies will start selling of northern districts-bound and north-western districts-bound bus tickets from July 26. The tickets will be available from the bus counters of Kalyanpur, Technical and Gabtoli areas.”He also informed that the bus tickets will also be sold online to ease the suffering of the people. And the bus company will sold the tickets at the price, fixed by the government like the previous year.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Railway yesterday said it will begin selling of advance train tickets at five different places in the capital from July 29 ahead of Eid-ul-Azha to ease the sufferings of home-bound people.
The spots are Banani,Tejgaon, Fulbaria, Kamalapur Railway Station and Airport Railway Station in the capital.
Sources of Bangladesh Railway also said that the process of selling advance train tickets will continue till August 2.
