Host England will take on New Zealand at the twelfth World Cup final at Lords today (Sunday). The match will start at 3:30 pm (Bangladesh time). The latest weather forecast indicates a blessed sunny day.
According to the Met Office, the general weather forecast for London and the South East across Sunday and Monday is blessedly dry.The forecaster says: “Dry on Sunday with periods of sunshine after morning low cloud lifts. Mostly fine and dry on Monday and Tuesday although some low cloud and mist may affect the coast.”
Temperatures are set to hover between 17C and 21C, with the warmest conditions coming in the late afternoon and early evening.
The reserve day, touch wood, should therefore not be required, but it’s a similar story on the Monday, with cloud giving way to scattered afternoon sunshine and temperatures peaking around 22C.
