BNP senior joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has warned the government of dire consequences if it does not backtrack from the decision of hike in gas prices.
He came up with the warning at a press briefing in front of its party headquarters at Nayapaltan in the capital on Sunday.Terming the government without the mandate of people Rizvi said that the movement would not be on that stage. Its splinter will create an indomitable bush-fire one day, he added.
He further said, “Obaidul Quader called for agreeing with the government decision. But what you want us to be agreed with-- the election held on midnight, the election of vote rigging through EVM, hike in gas prices and power -- who are you?”
